This week, they discuss the Book of Jonah, reading each of the four chapters at a time, offering their interpretations of the book’s stories. They also mix in Jonah-related commentary from Herman Melville’s Moby Dick (especially Chapter 9), and cross-reference Jonah with other scriptures; like 1 Corinthians, Moses at the Burning Bush, Gideon’s call, the letters to the Seven Churches in Revelation, Jesus’ story of the Rich Man & Lazarus, and much, much more.
